As someone who doesn't really know much about makeup, I was a bit nervous about having a full face of makeup for the first time but Tracey totally put me at ease as she was so friendly and helpful. The trial was really detailed and she listened to what I wanted and as a result I was thrilled with my makeup. The makeup she used not only looked great but also didn’t feel heavy at all, in fact it didn’t feel like I was wearing any makeup, it felt very natural. She came out to the house and was very helpful by asking me what sort of make up I wanted and how I wanted it done. “I was and still am very impressed with Tracey from Glammed Up and I’m delighted with the level of service me and my family received before and during our wedding day. I was impressed with how genuine and honest she was when I first enquired, where she gave a set price with no 'if's or but's or ambiguity'. I also felt no pressure or obligation to have a trial when I called unlike many people, who try their 'sales pitch'. I felt the price was very reasonable and I thought the fact under 16's were free was a great idea. I booked Tracey for a trial and as I am very picky about make-up (not being one to wear much) I was a little nervous, however I was put at ease straight away with Tracey's friendly, relaxed yet professional nature. I also like the way she was with my 15 year old cousin who was very nervous about someone else doing her make up, however she was instantly put at ease and was delighted with the end result of the trial. Again, there was still no pressure to book. Tracey listened to my concerns, the things I liked and she understood the natural look I was looking for. I can honestly say that when I looked in the mirror after the trial I was shocked! I'd never had make up look so good! I actually thought I looked quite pretty!!! She knew exactly what i meant by 'the natural look' and it was perfect! Very subtle yet VERY effective! Well I booked Glammed Up straight away with total confidence for my big day and had no worries about the make up for my other 2 bridesmaids (who I felt didn’t need to worry about a trial now). Glammed Up were very flexible and Tracey was more than happy to come wherever I needed her, to do our make up.. offering to maybe do 2 of us at one place and 2 at the venue (as I wasn't sure of where we would be and when at the time of booking her) I was very impressed with this, especially as there would be no extra charge for her going to 2 or more different places! Again, there was no pressure or stress. The booking process was also very easy - I received an email booking form which was very straight forward and it was emailed back. There was also a good level of trust, with no deposit necessary etc and payment on the day was fine. On the day, I had a text to confirm and Tracey arrived at the venue in plenty of time and was, yet again, very friendly and relaxed with everyone (something that I feel is very important). There was also no rush to get started and she was happy to go my pace. We all had our make up done and were thoroughly happy!! We all looked more beautiful than I could have hoped.. it's amazing what good, well applied make up can do! It also only took about 20mins or so to each persons make up! I also liked the fact that we were each given a little pot and applicator of our lip gloss to apply throughout the day. Tracey stayed for as long as we needed her and even offered to pop back later if we needed her to (this was after i'd said how worried I was about crying and messing it all up!!) but amazingly the make up was just as perfect at midnight when the party ended, as it was when it was first applied. We also had some lovely comments about our make up! After the day, I received an email asking how the day went and with a link to join the facebook group, and asking if it was ok to put up a picture of me and my lovely make up, which i was more than happy with. I joined the group and posted a comment of thanks to which I had a very nice and prompt reply. I couldn't have asked for better service than I received from Glammed up. Tracey was prepared, organised, friendly and professional and had a lovely nature and a knack of putting everyone at ease. I would definitely recommend her and would book her again in the future.
